Our Vision
Black Lives Matter Lake County is committed to the advancement and liberation of Black lives. Our mission is to dismantle systemic racism, combat anti-Blackness, and create a world where every Black person can thrive without fear of violence or oppression. Through advocacy, education, and community empowerment, we strive to foster a society where equity, justice, and dignity are realities for all.
Our Approach
We believe in actively engaging with Black communities, listening to their needs and concerns, and involving them in community led initiatives to create change. We recognize that achieving racial justice requires dismantling systems of oppression and building more inclusive structures. We are committed to long-term advocacy efforts aimed at advancing and liberating Black lives.
